At present, this new category will encompass videos produced through a blend of traditional techniques and AI integration. Looking ahead, we anticipate further delineating specific subcategories, potentially including distinctions such as short-form and fully AI-generated videos.
AI helps amateurs create music videos by automating complex tasks and providing user-friendly tools. It can generate animated visuals or suggest video clips that match the music’s mood and rhythm, automatically edit the footage to synchronize it with the music, and apply effects or transitions. Additionally, AI can generate storyboards or shot lists based on the song’s lyrics and themes, enhance creativity with templates, filters, and style suggestions, and speed up production by automating repetitive tasks. These capabilities make video production accessible to those without extensive technical skills or experience.
Although we have postponed this initiative in the past, the release of Runway’s Gen-3 AI video generator has solidified our decision to launch the new category.
