Pure life and good vibes on our Music Video of the Week selection: “A Love International” by Khruangbin, directed by Scott Dungate and produced by Stéphane Février.
The video is “A story of romance, rivalry and mango” as Dungate has characterized it. Joyfully showcasing different cultures and the beauty of all, a bit surreal and with perhaps a comic narrative. Shot on a sunny Thai beach with a brilliant cast whose energy is blazing through the screen. In fact, you can see more of that spirit from the BTS pictures the team has shared, for example here: @scotty_fingers
“A love International” is the third music video director Dungate has made in collaboration with the artist Khruangbin and shows in an impressive, yet playful and innocent way, that love knows neither different cultures nor borders. Will they get nominated in BMVA 2024? We’ll find out soon. Until then, you can still submit your music videos: Regular Deadline is February 7th.✨
