In other words, the song makes us want to lay down all the fancy stuff and get back to the basics, you know, the stuff that really matters.
The accompanying music video directed by Peter Ricq is a fresh contrast to the song with its playful animations and symbolic elements. The editor has managed to guide the viewer’s eye with precision and the dancers’ movements are telling us the story. At times their gaze meets ours – perhaps the most powerful moments of the video.
