2021 NOMINEES – SET 8 – Berlin Music Video Awards

Another day, another list of nominated videos! We bring you nominees set 8, which means that already 80 artworks are part of our official selection. Congratulations to everyone selected so far and fingers crossed, still five more rounds to go!

BMVA 2021 Nominees – Set 8/13

The first one to show up is Darko US with visual madness and Lulu Van Trap rocks the room with energetic track and freaky costumes. Leah Dou brings in some cuteness with pixelated cats. Representing Zoom lockdown art, we have Thao and the Get Down Stay Down with their creative piece. Kekra takes us to an alternate universe, where he’s trying to escape soldiers.

The second half of set 8 begins with girl gang Rebecca, Ling, Alana and Tia, bringing in a splash of colours. Next up is España Circo Este with an uplifting tune, accompanied by visuals depicting more of a serious topic. Achile makes you feel like you’re on the set of his music video and Graindelavoix offer us a mini film spiced up with a bit of cool choreo. The compilation ends with Nòe, who tells us a story through a powerful performance.
