This week’s choice for MVOTW is Polish rapper Mata’s video for the song Szmata, directed by Maciek Mac Adamczak.
In the rather gruesome, yet visually pleasing video, Mata raps, among other things, about how fame has changed how people treat him. In the video, this is depicted by him literally being sold as a piece of meat that everyone wants a taste of.
The set design, color grading, and creative concept, as well as the smooth camera transitions, all contribute to an outstanding viewing experience.
