On Thursday 9 June, producer James Chappel and Biting Elbows indie rock band frontman Ilya Naishuller will tell us about their experiences of the process of writing the treatment (the video idea). We will be discussing their views on how to pitch a video and get in contact with labels or bands, among other exciting things!
James Chappel is a veteran of our festival. He started his career paying bands for the opportunity to direct their videos… and is now getting big budgets! His very singular story is definitely worth hearing.
Ilya Naishuller, who is not only the singer and guitarist of Biting Elbows, but also a music video director, will give us his perspective on those subjects — from a musician’s point of view.
